Tom Higgs is an award-winning British product designer. He is a graduate of the Royal College of Art Design Products course by Ron Arad. In 2012, he founded Proper Products, a London-based design studio that develops everyday items that are helpful, simple, intuitive and enjoyable to use.
The small, non-skid double wedge made of durable rubbery plastic can be used universally. It reliably stops doors as well as windows and is suitable for every subsurface – from carpet to parquet to tile.
Four heat-resistant, coloured silicone octahedrons. With a casual flick of the wrist, they extend out onto the table or work surface. Hot pots and pans can be placed perfectly safely and securely on the upper surfaces, meaning that the underlying surface is protected. It can be easily stored in a drawer, taking up very little space.
